Increase-specific budgets can be set and monitored during the course of the planning process
Separate budgets can be set for merit, across the board, promotion, and other increase types. Options can then be set to restrict managers to their allocated budgets or gove them unlimited access to funds for increase recommendations.
Managers can access employee information via the Web-based approvals tool and complete a performance appraisal online prior to recommending an increase
In Salary Planning, managers can complete a performance appraisal for their subordinates prior to recommending a salary increase amount. Managers can also reference employee and job-specific information (compa-ratios, market rates, grade ranges, etc.) as they prepare increase recommendations.
