Multiple structures can be maintained
SMS can accommodate multiple salary structures in the Valuation tool. The "Wizard-based" approach to structure development gives you the capability of developing and maintaining many sets of structures and bands. You can also make copies of structures and adjust the copy while maintainng the original job to grade assignments. The copy feature enables you to perform multiple what-if analyses without fear of corrupting the official salary structure.
Graphs can be generated displaying how employees fit within their assigned grades
Employees and jobs can be graphed to visually display how they fit into their assigned grades.
